What a time to be alive! The 21st century has already seen many breakthrough technological advancements, but have you heard of Cryptocurrency? This middle school resource is designed to inform students of Bitcoin's ever-growing, increasingly popular digital phenomenon. Students will learn about the history of Bitcoin and the pros and cons of Cryptocurrencies as a whole. It includes a reading comprehension with QR codes and embedded links, in-depth research on the pros and cons of Cryptocurrencies, and an art assignment, because why not? Cross-curricular is always best. 
 
It DOES NOT encourage students to get into Cryptocurrency. Instead, it provides an unbiased description of its uses. Students will formulate their own opinion about whether or not our world is ready (or needs) Cryptocurrency. 
 
Strong grade 7 readers should be able to comprehend this read.
